The wedding season is almost upon us again! I'm a sucker for weddings. They are simply magical if you ask me. The love, beauty, and anticipation of the couple almost always have me teary-eyed. Weddings can also have you teary-eyed and not in a good way if you come unprepared with young children in tow.

Attending a wedding with your young child presents, let's say, a host of unique challenges. Do you have enough activities to keep them entertained, quiet, and still during the ceremony? You especially don't want them making a sound when the awkward speak now or forever hold your peace part comes up. Although I think that would add a memorable moment for everyone, you'd probably want to crawl under your seat. What will they eat? What will you bring with you for the baby (diapers, wipes, changing pad, burp cloths, pacifiers, bottles, milk/formula, baby food, and a change of clothes - babies are notoriously messy)? And the most daunting: what will you wear if you are nursing your baby?

It can be tough to find a dress that's stunning yet breastfeeding-friendly and comfortable. The ideal choice would be a dress with easy access for nursing, made of sturdy natural fabric (some fabrics such as silk are too delicate when caring for your baby), feels comfortable (allows you to move around and carry or run after kids), and looks beautiful.

Why is our Wedding Selection ideal for Wedding guests, Bridesmaids, or Maid of Honor?

Secret Nursing Zipper - These strategic zippers allow you to breastfeed quickly if your baby starts crying. It also enables you to nurse without exposing much skin, therefore reducing the need to isolate to breastfeed and miss out on the party.

Organic Tana Lawn® Cotton -  Our fabric ensures it’s safe for you and your baby's sensitive skin, and its high durability guarantees it won't easily rip. Moreover, because it is a natural fabric, it won't stink if you sweat while getting down on the dance floor or chasing your toddler.
Bonus: the beautiful patterns will help hide milk and other minor stains made by kids' dirty hands. Unfortunately, I have first-hand experience with kids’ grubby fingers staining a dress. My daughter's chocolate cake-covered fingers grabbed my beautiful dress at my sister’s wedding! What an awkward situation to be at the entire reception with a giant chocolate stain across my dress! They had to Photoshop the stain out of all the photos!

Comfortable Design - This allows you to move freely, carry your children, and keep small items like pacifiers and phones in your POCKETS. You know, we all love a dress with pockets. Chef’s kiss!

{ Giorgia in the Barbara Nursing Dress }

Fashionable - You’ll look stunning and get the WOW effect you always hope for when attending a wedding. The ruffles, structured sleeves, and flow of the skirts will have you swooning.
